What I Believe...
Inspiration is the gift I receive from my clients. I am
keenly aware that anyone who walks through my door has made the
difficult choice to face a life challenge. In a safe, trusting and
compassionate atmosphere, you use our relationship to make the changes
that will bring more joy and meaning into your life. I help you
find purpose and connectedness and achieve personal growth and fulfillment.
It is an honor, in my belief, to be allowed into your private world
and to be trusted with the deep and authentic feelings that connect
us all.
My Professional Experience...
In practice with my husband, Bob, since 1989, we have created Couple
to Couple® Coaching, Hollander Counseling Associates,
Mediation with Heart® and Separation
with Heart®. We are the first clinicians in Baltimore
to open a Mars & Venus Counseling Center. Our
practice has locations in Owings Mills and Westminster, Maryland.
The training Bob and I received from Dr. John Gray, author of
Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, was a wonderful
experience that has helped us understand gender differences in our
work with couples, with people in the workplace and in our own relationship,
at work and at home. We use his wisdom to teach others that understanding
and accepting our differences is an important part of relationships.
Our Newest Program...
Our Couple to Couple® Coaching program was
born out of the dramatic experience Bob and I had working as a team
with couples. We perceived a powerful energy that was different
and more influential than working with couples in the traditional,
one therapist approach. Having a male and female team, who know
about working on relationships (we work on ours daily), provides
a unique, dynamic and balanced approach. We coach you and your partner
on learning skills to create a loving, intimate and secure relationship
that lasts a lifetime.
