While men are wonderful providers and dads, many men forget the importance of romance in their relationships. Valentines Day is the one day during the year that they are reminded to focus on their partner. So what do women really want for Valentines Day?
The secret desire of every woman is to feel extraordinarily "special" to the man she loves.
When a man does or says things that make a woman feel loved and cared for, her heart is open and she is fulfilled. Listed below are some examples of those acts of love that score big with a woman. Just remember that as women, we each have our own preferences. So what scores big with one woman may not do so well with another. As women we believe: if you really love me, you will know what makes me feel special. (Hint: Think about what you did to make her fall in love with you.)
- Plan a romantic evening, in advance.
- Get her a Valentines Day card and write on it what makes her so special.
- Bring her flowers, not the ones from the grocery store.
- Give her non-sexual cuddling, that’s right men, I said non-sexual.
- Plan a romantic getaway – one night at a bed and breakfast feels like a week.
- Surprise her with chocolates or her favorite food.
- Write her a love note or poem.
- Give her a day off from all chores and actually do those chores yourself.
- Get tickets to a show or performance that she likes.
- Watch a "chick flick" with her, without complaining or falling asleep.
The goal is to let your partner know although she may not be perfect, that she is the perfect mate for you.
Women, on the other hand, don't always need help planning romance but, because of multiple responsibilities, they often forget how to relax and let go, which is frustrating for their partner. So what do men really want for Valentines Day?
Most men say that all they want is for their partner to be happy. Then they know they have done a good job.
A man’s self esteem is very much based upon his success at the job he’s doing. At work, he feels very competent and comfortable in that environment. At home however, he may feel less sure if he is doing well unless his partner let’s him know that she is happy and appreciates the job he does in the relationship. The following are examples of what scores big with men and since you are a sensitive woman, you will know which one would work for your partner.
- Get him a Valentines Day card and write in it all the things he does for you that you appreciate.
- Write him a love note that describes your trust and confidence in him as a partner.
- Get tickets to an event that he would like.
- Give him a day off with no list.
- Watch a movie he likes.
- Give him a coupon for guilt free "cave time".
- Tell him all the reasons you are happy with your life together.
- Receive the pngt he gives you with much appreciation.
- Get him a coupon to Victoria’s Secret and allow him to go with you to pick out something that he would like you to wear.
- Have sex and let him know how much you enjoyed it!
The goal is to let your partner know what he is doing right and how that makes you happy.
Remember, when we do loving acts for our partner we feel our love the most!
Make it a Happy Valentines Day!
