The Gift and Power of Emotional Courage

Emotions play a large role in our relationships. Over the years, there are times when we've felt happy, sad, joyful, afraid, anxious, excited, loving, and more.

The way individuals express and manage their emotions is often different than their partner's. At times this can cause conflict. We often hear, "She's too emotional," or "I never know what he's feeling."

In our work with couples we help partners understand their own and each other's feelings more deeply, explore what they learned in their families about the expression of feelings, and find the healthiest ways to navigate them in their relationship.
