December 16, 2009: Don’t Forget the “Holi-Dates”
December is surely the busiest month of the year – shopping, baking, cooking, decorating, partying. It is the month that gives meaning to the phrase, “too much to do and not enough time.”
Even so, it is important for you and your partner to take time for at least a couple “Holi-Dates.”
We want to share our favorites with you:
- Take a day trip to New York City – first place in our Holi-Date book!
- Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes – an amazing show.
- FAO Schwarz – the oldest and one of the biggest toy stores in the U.S., brings out the kid in us.
- 5th Avenue Window Wonderland Displays – not to be missed.
- Rockefeller Center – ice skating under the big tree, hand-in-hand.
- See the Symphony of Lights.
- Try ice skating followed by hot cocoa.
- Ski the slopes and then sip brandy by the fire.
- Go snow tubing and play in the snow.
- Linger in the bookstore over coffee.
- Stay home and rent holiday movies (check out Amazon’s list of the best holiday movies of all time)
